Should I try to mod Chromium, or should I try to build my own web browser using WebKit and V8? I am also considering basing by browser on FireFox. Would that be easier to get started with?

  7. It has been released few weeks ago. Its simply chrome with out sync and google activity tracking and any other google related services like google assistant. Bromite on the other hand is vanilla+some filter and privacy options included. Here too, there's no sync feature.
