7 mai 2022 · 1. hold down the windows button + R and type in cmd, once you've done that a window called "command prompt" should open. It doesn't actually say command prompt on it but that's what it's called. 2. in the window type/copy-paste this in and press enter: systemreset --factoryreset.
12 nov. 2011 · My problem is that the start button (or 'orb') doesn't work, either if i clic on it, press the Windows key on my keyboard or use the Ctrl + Esc shortcut. The button reacts to the mouse (the logo hilights) but the menu doesn't open when i clic.

3 feb. 2014 · Sometimes the start menu just needs a bump to "refresh" the UI to actual state. Try toggle Settings-->Personalization-->start-->"Show More Tiles on Start". Then come back and toggle it back.
