If possible, I'd like to block it on both YouTube and Google, but if it works on any one of these, it'd be fine then too. Apparently, a now-unavailable extension called "Video Blocker Extension" could do this on YouTube, but I can't find anything now.

The answer is uBlock origin with Firefox. I haven't had issues blocking ads on Youtube for years, but the last few days no adblocker has been reliable for Youtube. Do what I do. Download and use Brave browser to watch Youtube.
If you don't want to have to rely on extensions you can always block ads at your router level using a Pie-hole and Raspberry Pi. Users have been lucky enough to be able to rely on third party addons and stores.

Allows me to prevent specified channels from appearing in search results, or suggested videos and auto-play. Return YouTube dislike. As the name suggests, brings back the dislike number.
