This has been answered many times here but the basics are a popular Youtuber named Sam Pepper released a "prank" video where he touched "random" girls' butts in public without their permission.
Sam Pepper is/was a YouTube prankster that got popular when 'pranks' got big on Facebook. In mid 2014 he made a video entitled 'FAKE ASS PINCH PRANK'. People soon started calling him out saying that it was clearly sexual harassment (which it totally was).

Sam Pepper has fully embraced it and thrived on it. If you have a bad reputation, Robert Greene talks about overcoming that or softening it by associating with something positive that whitewashes and counteracts your current reputation.
He's still doing his thing on YouTube. I don't feel like digging up the numbers but he's surely lost some subscribers but he still has over 2 million. His network (Collective Digital Studios) has dropped since the allegations. His comments are littered with jokes or references to the allegations.
As you can see from the timeline, Sam Pepper in ALL instances, released his part 2 reverse gender video BEFORE Laci Green started mass reporting him, BEFORE any sexual assault claims, BEFORE ANY backlash actually occurred.
