  3. 7 dec. 2015 · Chromium OS – an open-source development version of Chrome OS, which is a Linux distribution designed by Google to work primarily with web applications. In preliminary design documents, Google describes a three-tier architecture: firmware, web browser and window manager, and system-level software and userland services.

  4. Chromium releases. Chromium releases (built with same settings and optimizations of Bromite, but no patches) are provided as part of the Bromite project. They are mostly useful to detect new features/bugs in Chromium and compare functionality with Bromite, but they provide as well a 100% vanilla working Chromium browser (with all the pros/cons).
