2 nov. 2010 · As an alternative, go to Wrench->Options and set Home Page to "Use the New Tab page" and On startup to "Open the home page". Instead of getting a blank page, you'll get clickable icons for your most often visited websites.
13 iul. 2012 · I'm trying to find out how to recreate Chrome's new tab homepage with all it's features. I've tried plugins like isotope , however I've met a lot problems with sorting using the jQuery sortable class.
If you set https://www.chromium.org/administrators/policy-list-3#RestoreOnStartup to any value (e.g., to the default "Open New Tab Page"), the welcome pages should no longer be shown. This is true even if you set it in the "Google Chrome - Default Settings (users can override)" group.
16 mar. 2023 · Now that you’re in the Appearance menu in Settings, you need to actually enable the homepage button to appear in your browser. Do this by selecting the "Show Home button" toggle .
Experimenting with the New Tab Page. It is relatively easy to make edits to the new tab page as its frontend is constructed with HTML. To edit the HTML, look for browser\resources\new_tab.html - the backend for this page is defined in browser\dom_ui\new_tab_ui.cc.
