16 mai 2021 · 0. I've built the Chromium browser on my Windows from its official source code by following this documentation. I made some changes and executed my first build and ran into some errors. The error are as follows: THE ERROR ON EVERY BUILD:
Chrome for Testing builds and Chromium builds do not auto-update, and do not have symbols. This makes them most useful for checking whether a claimed fix actually works. Use the following instructions to find builds.
Chromium requires Visual Studio 2022 (>=17.0.0) to build. Visual Studio can also be used to debug Chromium. The clang-cl compiler is used but Visual Studio's header files, libraries, and some tools are required. Visual Studio Community Edition should work if its license is appropriate for you.
28 iul. 2016 · Extracted the windows version of the depot-tools into my workspace. Fetched the repositories with fetch chromium and gclient runhooks. Built with cd src, gn gen out/Default and ninja -C out/Debug. The build process does its job and no errors are showing up in console.
You can Browse or Search the Chromium Code online. Chromium supports building on Windows, Mac and Linux host systems. Select the platform you want to build: Linux. Windows. Mac. Chrome OS (Build on Linux) linux-chromeos (runs the Chrome OS version of Chrome on Linux) cros-vm (runs in a Chrome OS virtual machine)
Simply “open” your chrome.exe binary with File->Open->Project/Solution, or from a Visual Studio command prompt like so: devenv /debugexe out\Debug\chrome.exe <your arguments>.
You must have the Windows 10 SDK installed, version 10.0.15063 or later. The 10.0.15063 SDK initially had errors but the 10.0.15063.468 version works well. Most of this will be installed by Visual Studio.
