16 mai 2021 · Looks like a mixture of Python 3 and 2 is causing that issue. Try to clean the build folder by running gn clean out\YourBuildFolder and start compiling again. That might help – Asesh May 17, 2021 at 3:14

Have you asked on the chromium-dev mailing list to see if your build is slower than expected for your machine's specifications? If you suspect that Defender is slowing your build then you can try Microsoft's Performance analyzer for Microsoft Defender Antivirus to investigate in detail.
4 iun. 2012 · Essentially, Lime is cutting-edge (i.e., beta) while Vanilla is the stable release. Frankly, you may as well use Lime in general unless you don't want to/may not use beta software and want/have to use a stable build.
They are mostly useful to detect new features/bugs in Chromium and compare functionality with Bromite, but they provide as well a 100% vanilla working Chromium browser (with all the pros/cons). → Chromium home page.
23 mai 2022 · At chrome://settings/syncSetup, "Allow Thorium sign-in" should be disabled by default. At chrome://settings/security, "Always use secure connection" could be enabled by default. At the URL chrome://settings/privacySandbox, the experimental privacy sandbox trials are enabled by default.
