I want to build the latest stable version of Chromium ( 62.0.3202.84 at the time of writing, see OmahaProxy ). The build instructions work just fine for the current development version. From this question, the Brave wiki and some other sources, the instructions to fetch and build a specific version seem to be pretty clear : git fetch origin 62.0.
Download Chromium. You can test Chrome builds or Chromium builds. Chrome builds have the most infrastructure for analyzing crashes and reporting bugs. They also auto-update as new releases occur, which makes them a good choice for most uses. Chrome Canary is available for Windows and Mac and autoupdates daily.

28 mai 2015 · If you want a Windows binary, your best bet may be to find a version that's packaged for a major distro and regard that as a stable build. See if you can download matching binary from Portable Apps (or elsewhere). Otherwise you could try to build it yourself. –

10 mai 2016 · To make linking faster, try using a component build, which keeps everything in separate shared libraries rather than one big onw that needs to be relinked for any change. If you're using GN, add is_component_build=true to gn args out/${build_dir} .
