16 dec. 2015 · It might be a bit overkill, but you could run a caching proxy like squid on your client computer and redirect all your browsers (maybe all 1 of them) to use the local proxy. Then in the proxy you can more easily force caching of the content you want.
27 nov. 2008 · Contrary to what some of the other answers have said, there IS a way for client-side javascript to replace a cached image. The trick is to create a hidden <iframe>, set its src attribute to the image URL, wait for it to load, then forcibly reload it by calling location.reload (true).
