Kill the running update task (which usually starts during the install) and do NOT open Chrome until you have completed the following steps. Remove the update folder manually and remove "GoogleUpdate.exe". Set both Google Update services "gupdate" and "gupdatem" to "disabled".

29 mar. 2022 · You can have Chrome ask you every time to choose the download folder location. Click the "Ask where to save each file before downloading" toggle to enable that behaviour. To change the download folder location, click "Change" to the right of the "Location" line.
