11 oct. 2017 · With the update, I completely lose my search bar. When I enter customize the bar returns. On exit customize, I lose it again. Changing it to 'old' search bar made no difference. I am using windows 10 64 bit but notice the Firefox update is 32 bit. Can this make a difference?
17 mar. 2024 · You can use the Search bar on the New Tab page or you can search the Web from the address bar. You can also change your search settings in Firefox to add a separate Search bar next to the address bar.
I'm on Firefox 78.0.2 (64-bit) running on Win10. In Firefox, I've got DuckDuckGo as my default search engine. I used to hit <Ctrl>-T to open a new tab, type a search phrase in the address bar, hit <Enter> and it would return search results.
You can still manually install 64-bit Firefox, if you choose. If you need to run 32-bit Firefox or manually install 64-bit Firefox, you can simply download and re-run the Windows (32-bit or 64-bit) Firefox installer from the Firefox platforms and languages download page.

29 mar. 2024 · Method 1: Make Sure That the Search Bar Is Not Set to Hidden. If you meet the Windows 10 start menu search bar missing issue when you upgrade your system to Windows 10 or after you installed a major update, then it may be because Windows 10 allows you to hide the search bar.
5 dec. 2023 · If no extensions are installed or if all extensions are either disabled or pinned to the toolbar, the extensions panel is not shown. Instead, the Add-ons Manager Personalize Your Firefox page will open in a new tab. I have checked both of these, and they are not the case.
