Hello, I recently received a prepaid non-reloadable gift card. I ordered some virtual (in-game) currency online and then was refunded because they did not have enough in-stock to complete my order. I did not have the card linked to PayPal so I just used the guest checkout option.
Just got scammed. $200 gone. They tried to get me to give them $800 more in Vanilla gift cards but then I found this post before sending them the information- thank you. Luckily, I get to keep my $800, even though it’s now on gift cards….
If you want to cancel an order that you paid for with your Vanilla gift card funds, you can do it by dialing 1-844-433-7898 and asking their customer service reps to cancel the purchase. You will be refunded the money, and it will be credited back to the gift card.
