The .iso image is built by the same script used for the .zip archive, but supports UEFI and BIOS, installed from either USB or DVD. The .iso and installer .zip are both around ~1.6 GB each.
12 aug. 2015 · Since this tutorial is using VirtualBox 5.0, you can download this version of the VBox Guest Additions ISO . The last item you need to download before you can install SteamOS is obviously the Steam OS ISO. Note that this file will be updated whenever a new major build is released.
Method 1: The easiest method is an image-based install using CloneZilla. You will need to create a SteamOS System Restore USB stick to perform this install. The image provided here requires at least a 1TB disk. Format a 4GB or larger USB stick. Use SYSRESTORE as the partition name.
