23 apr. 2010 · The suggestion I've given is the only way you're going to have a chance of drying your iPod out other than a bag of silica gel, more effective but something not easily obtainable for the average user, or taking your iPod apart to dry it out.

4 dec. 2022 · If the iPod has been in water for a while it is unlikely to be repairable. Once water gets into the iPod the remaining battery power will cause electricity to flow where it isn't supposed to go and burn out components.
8 dec. 2009 · you should first try to dry out the iPod completely before plugging it in. I've heard that storing your device in a container covered with uncooked rice for a day or two will help dry it out. the dry rice will absorb a lot of moisture.
