24 mai 2021 · I am getting "managed by organisation" on Chrome on a personal Windows machine. And in chrome://extensions there are no malicious extensions. The above image is of Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome\ExtensionInstallForcelist.
Extensions keep coming back even after I reinstalled Google Chrome - Google Chrome Community.
29 iun. 2022 · Victims have been reporting browser extensions that were removed by Malwarebytes, but “magically” came back later. Since the victims also complained about the message saying their browser was “managed”, we had a pretty good idea where to look.

8 aug. 2022 · You can directly check Chrome's location using Windows Folder. In the new Windows folder, if you have already installed chrome, browse to location " C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application ". You will find chrome and it's related folder there.
24 feb. 2015 · Navigate to chrome://version/ and look for Profile Path, it is your default directory and Extensions Folder is where all the extensions, apps, themes are stored.
22 apr. 2012 · The easiest way is to navigate to chrome://version and look for the Profile Path field. Example (Windows): [Profile Path] C:\Users\Alice\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default. [User Data Dir] C:\Users\Alice\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data. Then Extensions are located under Extensions/ folder.
