I'm just looking for some free multiplayer games I can add to a second steam account on a second machine (a docked steam deck) for online play in the same room until I can afford to buy a second copy of my favourite games for friends to use on a second account.
I'm looking for games that can be played on steam deck with 2 people at once? Are there any? If you think minecraft, literally the world's most popular/famous multiplayer game needs to be excluded from the list because you can't search for it on the steam store, then you should send your deck back.

One of the reasons I'm getting a Steam Deck (as a console gamer) is Free online play. Which over the course of a few years pays for itself. What game/games are you looking forward to playing online with the SD once it releases?
Roboquest is very good on the deck. It’s only 2 player coop online though, but it runs amazing and it tons of fun.
Suggestions for pass-and-play games on steam for local two player. Just looking for some fun games to play with my wife while traveling - would love to be able to pass the deck back and forth with her in flight. Let me know what you like to play!
