Bug: I can't search using enter key (in the search bar), can't open private browsing using ctrl+shift+n (PC).
So basically like a few months ago my search bar stopped working, at first I didnt really think it was a big deal because I can just fix it later…
My chrome search-bar is now really big, and the box in the upper right hand corner to make the chrome window full screen won't work (it's there, but is grey and I can't select it) my windows scale settings are at 100, it's not a "zoom" issue as web pages are normal.
When I click on the search bar nothing pops up and just acts like it wasn't clicked on. This is really annoying as I use the search bar a lot. Looking for fix. Also I cannot find the search task or cortana in task manager.
I noticed today that my search bar wasn't working for some reason. I decided to troubleshoot the issue, then it says it got the wrong permissions for the Windows-Search- Directories. I have tried searching on this issue, but there isn't much I could find. Best regards!
Google search not working properly. Usually, when searching for something unambiguous, google provides the answer without the user having to click links like for a translation, stock price, recipe, restaurant, etc. For whatever reason, my google searches stopped displaying that result.
