If you can’t receive emails or text messages from us, maybe because you lost or upgraded your phone or your email account was hacked, learn how to recover your account if you can't access the email or phone number on your account.
To change your password on Facebook if you're already logged in: Tap in the top right of Facebook. Scroll down and tap Settings. Tap Accounts Center, then tap Password and security. Tap Change password, then tap the account you'd like to update. Enter your current password and new password. Tap Change password.
If you requested a new password but didn't receive your password reset email: Check the spam or junk mail folder in your email accounts linked to your Facebook account. Try to reset your password again.
To reset your password if you're not logged in to Facebook: Go to the Find Your Account Page. Type the email, mobile phone number, full name or username associated with your account, then click Search. Follow the on-screen instructions.
If you're logged in but have forgotten your password, follow the steps under Change Your Password then click Forgot your password? and follow the steps to reset it. Keep in mind that you'll need access to the email associated with your account.
