MAPS 3 is a capital improvements program in Oklahoma City that uses a one-cent, limited-term sales tax to pay for debt-free projects that improve our quality of life. The eight MAPS 3 projects are nearly complete, with the final project scheduled to be finished in 2024.

The Metropolitan Area Projects Plan 3, or MAPS 3, is a $777 million public works and redevelopment project in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma funded by a temporary voter-approved sales tax increase. The one-cent sales tax initiative began in April 2010 and ended in December 2017.
7 iun. 2022 · As the largest single project in the history of the City of Oklahoma City, the $293-million MAPS 3 Convention Center was completed in December 2020 on time, under budget and completely debt free.
24 iun. 2024 · The MAPS 3 projects included Scissortail Park, the Oklahoma City Streetcar, Riversport Rapids, the Oklahoma City Convention Center, the Bennett Event Center, 55 miles of new sidewalks, three new trails, and four new senior health and wellness centers.
19 iun. 2024 · MAPS 3 was a $777 million, debt-free capital improvement program aimed at bolstering Oklahoma City with a new downtown convention center, a new downtown park and a new streetcar, among several other projects including senior health centers, sidewalks and trails.
