26 oct. 2017 · In Chromium the words 'Make Default' is greyed out so one cant change the default search engine to Google. A work around is to make your home page google.com . This way, one can just open a new Tab to do Google search.

13 iul. 2012 · How to recreate Chromium/Chrome new tab home page. I'm trying to find out how to recreate Chrome's new tab homepage with all it's features. I've tried plugins like isotope, however I've met a lot problems with sorting using the jQuery sortable class.
2 nov. 2010 · In my case even though I had added about:blank as the page to open under On startup > Open a specific page or set of pages, Chrome still opened to the Bing search home page every time I launched it. Admittedly Bing search was my default search engine, but still in my opinion it should not have overridden the On startup setting.
