19 ian. 2017 · I have been able to successfully embed the Chromium Web Browser in a GameMaker 2 application via a custom extension I have built. I'm still working through a model for communication from JavaScript in the page back to GameMaker and back (The browser renderer runs in a different process for Chromium reasons, so it is tricky).

17 ian. 2013 · As stated by Diago, you can download binary releases via the chromium-browser-snapshots repository. Combine this with a quick check of which version_number you need at omahaproxy, and you get a nice direct link to your desired "stable release" without accessing the slow snapshot lister website.
Download Chromium. You can test Chrome builds or Chromium builds. Chrome builds have the most infrastructure for analyzing crashes and reporting bugs. They also auto-update as new releases occur, which makes them a good choice for most uses. Chrome Canary is available for Windows and Mac and autoupdates daily.
Chromium requires Visual Studio 2022 (>=17.0.0) to build. Visual Studio can also be used to debug Chromium. The clang-cl compiler is used but Visual Studio's header files, libraries, and some tools are required. Visual Studio Community Edition should work if its license is appropriate for you.
