Sometimes my screen on chrome goes black then returns to normal after a second. So I tried incognito mode without extensions and I can't get it to crash/black screen. So now I tried with only one extension, Tampermonkey. And 5 minutes after enabling it, boom, black screen.
21 iul. 2021 · If you’re using Google Chrome and the interface goes completely black, then you’ve encountered one of the most irritating bugs in Chrome —the Google Chrome black screen issue. This problem has several causes, from conflicting extensions to undiagnosed software bugs.
Any new extension I install simply disappears (not disabled, total disappearance) once I close and re-start Google Chrome. This is not happening to any of my old extensions; they stay there across Chrome re-starts.
1 apr. 2024 · To fix it when Google Chrome isn't responding, try updating to the newest Chrome version, then clear your history and cache, and reboot the device. If this doesn't work, disable extensions, clear the DNS cache, reset Chrome, or reinstall the browser.
2 nov. 2019 · To see if an extension is causing the black screen, first disable all your extensions. If the black screen disappears, then one of the extensions was the problem. Reactivate the extensions one at a time until you find the culprit. Keep that extension disabled or delete it altogether.
