I'm trying to down load the Amazon Photos app to my desktop. The microsoft store keeps popping up. This app isn't in the store.
Updating windows seemed to be the fix, but just in case, here are some other things I did: Right click Amazonsetup.exe > properties > compatibility > change settings for all users > run as administrator. Uninstalled adobe acrobat (seemed to have updated around the same time as amazon app stopped) - restart PC.

14 iul. 2020 · Try to temporarily disabling firewall settings during the download, then re-enabling them after successfully downloading the app. Restart the computer and download again. If the issue persists, try to re-install the app again.
1 dec. 2023 · For Amazon Photos app users, repairing or resetting the app is an effective way to fix “Amazon Photos not working”. Step 1: Search Amazon Photos in the Windows search and right-click on the app. Step 2: Then choose App settings and you can choose Repair or Reset to delete the app’s data.
18 aug. 2021 · Amazon Photos Windows 10 desktop app has stopped uploading files. I have been running the Windows app for a long time. For the last 2-3 days, the app is not noticing that I have new and changed files - it always says backup complete - even if I force a "scan & upload now."
