16 feb. 2023 · You can use these presets to override geolocation in Chrome. You can also populate the list with your own preset that you use frequently. To add a custom preset: Open Settings. In the Locations tab, click Add location. Specify the following values for the new entry. For example, let's add New York as a new location. Location name: New York.
Do note that in release builds, only a series of hashes show up in chrome://version rather than the string names of the variations, but these hashes can be turned back into string names if needed. This is done by consulting the testing config for Chromium builds, or a Google-internal tool for Chrome builds.
