6 iun. 2021 · In the attached photo, I clicked in the search box to place the cursor there, but as soon as I began typing, it jumped to the address bar. This has never happened to me before in the 15 years I have used Firefox. I am a recent convert to Linux (about 1 year now) and am using Mint 19.3, Cinnamon 4.4.8, if that makes a difference.
29 mai 2021 · I have a ftp server ftp://192.168.1.6:2121/ which I want to connect to using my browser but instead it does a search on duckduckgo. The same link works in firefox but all the other browsers fail. I use brave and opera and both did a search using the search engine instead of actially taking me to the directory.
25 ian. 2021 · Could you double-check this setting: (1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk. (2) In the search box in the page, type or paste keyw and pause while the list is filtered (3) If the keyword.enabled preference is bolded and has a value of false, double-click it to restore the default value of true
26 ian. 2017 · The Search page displays on a new Options tab. Under Default Search Engine, select “Google” (or whichever search engine you want) from the drop-down list. If the search engine you want is not in the list on the Search Options screen, you can easily add it to the list of available search engines in Firefox.
21 aug. 2017 · Try to rename/remove search.json.mozlz4 and delete the search.json, search-metadata.json, search.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed.. You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
