To search for a MeSH Heading as a MeSH Major Topic, use the [majr] tag. For example, searching PubMed with Gastrointestinal Microbiome[majr] will return results with Gastrointestinal Microbiome[MeSH] as a major topic.
27 feb. 2024 · A MeSH search enables you to restrict your search to Major Topic Headings only. This allows you to retrieve articles where your topic is a major point discussed, rather than a secondary focus or finding.

There is usually a delay of a month or two between an article being added to PubMed and when it is indexed with MeSH terms.
