15 dec. 2022 · How to stop Google in Safari always recommending Chrome. I'm running macOS Big Sur 11.7.1 and Safari browser version 16.1. Upon every new launch of Safari, when I start a Google search or anything Google, there's this annoying upper right pop-up "Google recommends using Chrome" which I always dismiss "Don't switch."
