For me this worked: Go into Chrome Settings. Search for "hardware". Disable "Use hardware acceleration when available" and restart chrome. YouTubeTV shows video again when watching through a Chrome Browser Tab. Relaunch chrome after changing the setting and it should work now.
27 apr. 2022 · When I use my chromecast with Google tv to watch YouTube tv I experience constant freezing and buffering. When I use the tvs built in youtube tv app I have no issues whatsoever. Is this a known issue with chromecast with Google tv? Both are connected to the 5gz connection but have also tried with 2.4gz in case of interference somehow.
I can say that I have ruled out wifi issues or a specific laptop since it freezes on two different laptops, and at home, work, etc. I just changed to Firefox to stream YTTV and so far, so good without it freezing.
