22 apr. 2013 · In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following: Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
2 feb. 2021 · www.google.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site. The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it.

It can now find Google Maps, but Google Maps cannot find a location, because it uses a Google search. I tried the fix in about:config, but it had no effect.

You might also be able to try to do it manually by installing a user agent switcher and setting it to chrome-android on Google. Or, again using the user agent switcher, set it to a desktop web browser to automatically enable desktop mode.
