The Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol initiative, listed on the ballot as Issue 2, is a ballot initiative for legalization of cannabis in the U.S. state of Ohio that was passed by voters on November 7, 2023.
Issue 2 is a bad plan that puts profits over people. It legalizes an addiction-for-profit industry at the expense of our families and poses substantial risks to the public health and safety of all Ohioans, especially children and adolescents, given marijuana’s high potential for abuse.

18 oct. 2023 · A new poll from Baldwin Wallace University shows the majority of Ohioans are in favor of passing Issues 1 and 2, which aim to protect abortion access and legalize marijuana. The poll showed that 58.2% of Ohio voters plan to vote yes on Issue 1, and 57.4% plan to approve Issue 2, according to results released Wednesday.
