I just learned today that google chrome only keeps your browser history for 90 days. But when I go on mine and look, there stuff from at least the last couple of years. And yes it's the actual chrome browser history itself, not google activity or anything else. Why is that?
If your account is no longer active, you'll have to download a copy of your information to see your viewing history. You can also see a list of devices that have used your account recently. On your Account page, choose a profile and then "Viewing activity." See this article for more details.
Your history lists the pages that you've visited on Chrome in the last 90 days. It doesn't store: Chrome pages, such as chrome://settings. Pages that you've visited in private browsing....
