Since Primewire has been taken down, I've been struggling to find an alternative that offers lots of links for movies/shows through which you can either stream or download a movie. I usually did the latter with help of JDownloader.

The ways I know are: Torrent aggregators like zooqle; its disadvantage is that it doesn't always search torrents in the most popular sites and it doesn't work well enough imo. I'd get results from the sites it indexes on doing an individual search even if the zooqle search shows no results.
go to some search engine that's not google. search for 'stream free movies' or something like that. get a video download extension for your browser. use the extension to download the video. Or just watch it online like that.
I'm not interested in torrents, nor downloading, as I do not have a reliable VPN subscription and my hard drive is almost full; I want a website to just stream the media I'm interested in. I am aware of the megathread and I've been trying out some of the websites shown there.
