My thoughts on El Camino. I'm not really sure what the common consensus is on El Camino, but I didn't like it that much tbh. It's not a bad movie, it's still very well-made and there are some great emotional beats, but the story doesn't do enough to justify the movie's existence.
I enjoyed El Camino, though I don't think it was "necessary" and I do think they could have done a better job, it seemed a bit rushed. I personally found it unnecessary. I thought the original ending was perfect with Jesse just driving off. I didn't need to see what happened after that.
