The Spamhaus Blocklist contains IP addresses that have been identified as malicious. These IPs are being observed in adversarial activity, e.g. sending spam, snowshoe spamming, hosting malicious content, behaving like a bulletproof hosting company or hijacking IP space.
The blacklist check will test a mail server IP address against over 100 DNS based email blacklists. (Commonly called Realtime blacklist, DNSBL or RBL). If your mail server has been blacklisted, some email you send may not be delivered.
