11 nov. 2014 · Your error is formatting the partitions. Win 10 has to do the format. Just delete the partition and then boot to the install dis k or drive and select custom install. That gives the option of selecting the correct space. Choose the unallocated space (the deleted partition) to install windows 10.

8 oct. 2020 · Boot the installer in UEFI mode. Delete all partitions in sda, select "Unallocated Space" in the Windows installer, and click "next" as described in this post. When it completes the installation process, I see it has created a 16 MB "Microsoft Reserved" and a 232 GB "Microsoft Basic Data" partition.
7 oct. 2014 · This procedure has not changed in Windows 10. To perform a Clean Install where you can select the drive/partition, you need to download the .ISO file and then create a Bootable DVD. Get the ISO file: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/preview-iso.
