2 oct. 2020 · I've built the Chromium browser on my Windows from its source code ( Github) by following this documentation. After doing this successfully, I've a chrome.exe file which is able to launch the browser (see screenshot).
Stable Chromium builds for Windows 64-bit, nothing fancy. Build setup Built using Visual Studio 2022 v17.5.3 + SDK 10.0.22621.0 on Windows 10 virtual machine.

Getting Involved > Download Chromium. You can test Chrome builds or Chromium builds. Chrome builds have the most infrastructure for analyzing crashes and reporting bugs. They also auto-update as new releases occur, which makes them a good choice for most uses. Chrome Canary is available for Windows and Mac and autoupdates daily.
Chromium requires Visual Studio 2022 (>=17.0.0) to build. Visual Studio can also be used to debug Chromium. The clang-cl compiler is used but Visual Studio's header files, libraries, and some tools are required. Visual Studio Community Edition should work if its license is appropriate for you.
4 aug. 2020 · The ability to install and apply Google Chrome themes has been added to Microsoft Edge. By installing the latest build from the Canary branch of the browser, you can make Edge use your favorite Chrome theme.
