10 mai 2016 · To make linking faster, try using a component build, which keeps everything in separate shared libraries rather than one big onw that needs to be relinked for any change. If you're using GN, add is_component_build=true to gn args out/${build_dir}. For GYP, see this page.
Chromium releases. Chromium releases (built with same settings and optimizations of Bromite, but no patches) are provided as part of the Bromite project. They are mostly useful to detect new features/bugs in Chromium and compare functionality with Bromite, but they provide as well a 100% vanilla working Chromium browser (with all the pros/cons).
Bromite is currently built for ARM, ARM64 and x86 and for the Android SDK version 23+; Bromite SystemWebView is provided as well (SDK23+). For every Bromite build you can always find a matching vanilla Chromium build which is used for example to verify which issues are specific to Bromite or not.
Acum 2 zile · The development builds (also known as "snapshot", "nightly", "vanilla" or "raw" builds) are built automatically several times a day by the Chromium Buildbot ( buildbot console) and made available as binary code releases.
This nets a 8-38% performance improvement over vanilla Chromium, depending on the benchmark and OS. See PATCHES.md for a detailed overview of all modifications compared to vanilla Chromium regarding performance, security and useability.
