Almost every time I am halfway through a 4K disc, the movie freezes and skips around for the rest of the film. This happens on my older 4K discs, and brand new ones right out of the box. All the discs are perfectly clean, and I am not sure what is happening.
This year I basically couldn’t get through a single 4K movie without it freezing or skipping at some point. I finally did some reading, discovered others with the exact same issue and decided to upgrade to the Panasonic DPUB820K.

My wife and I check out Blu Ray movies from our local library all the time and I say that 50 to 60 percent of them have these skips here and there. Typically skipping mid way through the movie. First half is fine (no skips) and second half is fine (no skips).
