The whole download process is buggy to start off (nothing shows anything past pending but I do see the Movies & TV app is utilizing my network usage via my task manager so it does, eventually, download my episodes/movies.)

31 oct. 2018 · 1) Reset the Movies & TV app at Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Movies & TV app > Advanced Settings. 2) Update the Display and Sound drivers from the PC or Display adapter maker's Support Downloads web page for your exact model number, HP Serial Number or Dell Service Tag - from the sticker on the PC.

Open Settings > Network & internet. Check your Ethernet connection status at the top of the screen. Make sure it says Connected underneath the network connection name. If there’s an error, such as one that says Action needed, select Ethernet to view your Ethernet connection settings.
